East Linton Tool Library
As a member of East Linton Tool Library you'll have access to a wide array of tools and "how-to" instruction manuals to help you with your home improvement, woodwork, bicycle, sewing, plumbing and general DIY projects.
You'll be able to borrow tools when you need them and return them when you're done so they can be used by someone else.
Our volunteers will carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all equipment to ensure good condition and extend the lifespan of the inventory.
How Does It Work?
1. Sign up as a member online for £25 per year. All membership fees go towards the upkeep of the Tool Library including rent, bills, insurance, etc. and will help us ensure the project is sustainable
2. Reserve your tool in advance through our online catalogue on myTurn
3. Collect your tool during your chosen Tool Library session. If it's your first time borrowing you will need to bring along a proof of address and photo ID
4. Return your tool to us during Tool Library opening hours. Need the tool for longer? Just extend your booking online
