"Against Fast Fashion!"@ Haddington

Congratulations to all the pupils at Knox and Meadowpark Schools who've taken part in our "Against Fast Fashion!" sewing workshops over the last three months!

From tote bags and purses, this talented team has gone on to make incredible new clothes from old!

Over the next three years we'll be working with secondary schools across East Lothian to deliver sewing workshops,"Against Fast Fashion!" shows and pop-up presentations...

We're looking forward to showcasing all the fabulous creations in our first "Against Fast Fashion!" show at Knox High School Diversity Fair in March 2025. Don't miss it!

"There will always be room for improvement!"

"I've learned that denim is very difficult to cut through!"

"It's been very peaceful and calming and relaxing"

"I got some old clothes from my Granny that she used to wear in the 60's and she can't get into any more. I'm busy cutting them up to make them into pleats in a new skirt"

"I'm nearly finished making a skirt, leg warmers and fingerless gloves!"

"It's really good that we're using old materials to make old clothes"

"I've loved these classes!"
