What a day we've had down at Repair Café East Linton...
We don't know how many items we repaired! We lost count in the crowd but it was definitely well over 60 fixes!
Thank you to all who came along and supported us in all kinds of ways.
We raised 157 pounds in donations, which will go to East Lothian Food Bank. Thank you to everyone who contributed.
Thanks to all who wrote lovely things in our visitors book. It lifts our hearts. Plus, it will really help when it comes to getting funding and keeping this project going - and hopefully starting others!
Our new Sewing Skills for Children was a massive success. Among the wonderful creations we had lots of felt hearts, various animal hybrids, pompoms and even a set of fabric teeth! Thank you so much to our fabulous sewing tutor, Sheena, for keeping everyone busy and buzzing.
Most of all, thank you to our unbelievably talented and exceptionally fantastic volunteer team!
We'll be back on Saturday 13th January. We hope to see you there!
